2014 was a bumper year for electronic music. With many artists making big waves, the variety of content out their has never been wider, and with this competition for widespread attention has never been higher. I speak as an avid listener for many different genres and there simply isn't enough time to attempt to keep up to date with everything that is currently happening within the scene.
2015 is set to be another bumper year to the delight of everyone involved.
Here's what not to miss by some of the most prominent artists:
Pearson Sound
Its been announced that 2015 will see the release of Hessle Audio label co-founder Pearson Sound's long overdue first album. Its unclear what exactly this album will include, but if any of his previous realeases are anything to go by its definitely something to keep an eye out for.
In what is set to be a busy year for the DJ/Producer he has also announced a tour alongside fellow Hessle Audio artists and big hitters BEN UFO & Pangaea. With a wide variety of locations throughout the Midlands and the North its good to see such great talent being showcased outside of London if you don't fancy tackling the perils of a trip to the capital, and definitely something to try and get to.
Seth Troxler
Seth Troxler is set to team up with Phil Moffa in what will be their debut release for the Hypercolour later this month. This will consist of a two track single which is sure to be worth a listen. It marks the first release of the year for Hypercolour, following on from releasing the likes of Laurent Garnier and Luke Vibert.
This 12″ follows Troxler’s collaborative effort with The Martinez Brothers earlier this year, while New York native Phil Moffa also released a three-track collaboration with Anthony Parasole in January.
Skream
It was announced in late November that Skream would be the first quarterly resident DJ @ XOYO. In keeping with his fluid career he's set to play a mix of dubstep, garage, house, disco and techno introducing a few special guests along the way with DJ EZ, Wookie, Roy Davis Jr and Eats Everything among some of the names already announced. Running until march its something that you might want to catch if you are in and around the capital early this year.
Skream has also hinted via social media that he's in the process of producing a new album, but we'll have to keep an eye out for that.
Four Tet
New Four Tet brought to you in the shape of a 11 track album comprising all the Percussions 12″s on Text Records and some other tracks made during the same time period from 2011 until 2014. Featuring in a lot of his live sets for a number of years the tracks are now available for full download this January.

Levon Vincent
Deep House purist Levon Vincent announces his debut LP on Novel Sound. Surfacing on his social media the artist suggests that the LP will be released very shortly. Here is some of his older material to give you an idea of the quality its fair to expect from the Berlin Based producer.
Why not check out his Boiler Room while you're at it.
