Tomorrowaudio Podcast 007: Chris Cue

Thursday, October 03, 2013 | Posted by: Ethan McNamara

After a recent hiatus over the summer, we return to the Tomorrowaudio podcast series with one of the artists we had the pleasure of meeting this season in Ibiza.

Exploring the dubby areas that lie between house and techno, taking influence from some of our favourite artists such as Randall M, Bleak, Rhadoo, VID + more. Resident and co-runner of SAMPLE Newcastle, Chris Cue, delivers a solid hour of cast iron kick drums, steely off kilter rhythms and rolling organic basslines.

Keeping things stripped back while still full of drive and energy, 2013 sees remixes and releases forthcoming on his own Tough Luck Records imprint, as well as the excellent Leone Music & Deep Tech Records. After sharing flyer space with some of the biggest underground names and labels in the business, across the UK and in Ibiza over the last 3 years, listen in and see for yourself why Chris shows so much promise as a DJ and producer.

A stellar addition to the podcast series, and definitely one to watch for the future.
