London's Fabric Nightclub Closing Down?

The legendary London club is to have its license reviewed tonight by the Islington Council and could be thus facing closure.

Police have continued their pleas for a review after several drug-related deaths and hospitalizations have occurred at the world famous venue in the past 3 years.

In the last incident in September, an 18-year-old girl fell ill and later died  in hospital after buying MDMA inside the venue

A police report submitted to the Islington licensing committee cited "immaturity" of the club's customers as a reason for past incidents.

In a police report submitted to the committee, Pc Steven Harrington said: “It attracts clientele from all over Europe and it would seem that the immaturity or lifestyle of these patrons leads to them becoming actively involved in the taking of illegal drugs and this could account for the disproportionate and wholly unacceptable number of deaths and near death incidents at the venue.”

Tonight’s licence review has sparked floods of letters from members of the public, both for and against closure.

This year Fabric celebrated its 15th birthday. It is a major part of London's clubbing landscape and one of most renowned clubs in the world.

Do you think such a prestigious could actually be closing its doors after tonight? Is this the end of Fabric or just an over reaction that will soon simmer down?
