Looping psychedelic visionquests and hypnotic cubism makes for quite the DJ Booth.

Although it's the central focal point for most clubs, most DJ Booths seem to only utilize visuals to display a mundane loop of the DJ's name or logo. However on the odd occasion we've seen some really cool transformations take place like this Chevy Cayenne housed the DJ Booth at The Garage.

Pushing boundaries as ever, last weekend Leeds' most well known club night, Back To Basics presented the "Think Tank 3D Projection Mapped" DJ Booth for their event "A Love From Outer Space with Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnstone at Belgrave Music Hall.

Having been sat in a dreary damp warehouse for nearly year after it's initial conception, this unique concept of encapsulating the DJ Booth with unprecedented visuals only had an example video online. After a long wait the gears were finally set in motion to utilise this magnificent feast for the eyes after Simon Fong Wah brought it the attention of the legendary events promoter Dave Beer.

The result is a mesmerizing visual journey which seems to meander through space, time and geometry. The production is carried out perfectly with it;'s vast array of different intoxicating animations which leave you feeling like your on an acid infused DMT trip on a distant alien galaxy.
