From Catwash -

"Catwash Records is back with a powerfull 4-tracks sampler introducing Belgian underground rising talent Alex Noto and the promising English artists James Barnsley & Jack Wickham. With confirmed music producers as DJ W!LD & Adam Shelton stepping in for the remix duty, no doubt this release is a future must-have ready to ignite dancefloors worlwide.

Rising talent with releases on Homecoming music or Idea Records, Alex Noto is seen as one of the promising DJ/producers to come out of Belgian underground scene. His opening 'Roll it' is a pure piece of dark & sexy music; the sick bassline added to the male vocals and tight rythm kits hands out a sweaty groove that will spread desire and concupiscence on the dancefloor. Add to this DJ W!LD's deep but hard rocking remix, and side A is the perfect tool to get the party hot and d!rty. Resident at Circo Loco and Cocoon member, DJ W!LD is rising up to take his place as king of the underground, and is now a regular fixture of it all: the best international clubs and festivals, the leading labels, the hottest remixes and the sought-after DJ mixes, the press, the hype and the underground chatter... but the spirit that drives him is still remaining the same: deep, dark, acid, a little bit w!ld and always sexy music.

CWR029 - VARIOUS SAMPLER / Alex Noto, DJ W!LD, James Barnsley & Jack Wickham, Adam Shelton by Catwash Records

Leeds-based fellows James Barnsley and Jack Wickham have the same dedication to quality underground house music. With releases on Get Physical and Murmur, James Barnsley is seen as one of the most talented DJ/producers to come out from U.K and there's a lot more to come of from this lover of all things house over the next year. Unfamous underground In:Vision parties founder Jack Wickham appears as an artist that will be around a lot over the next years creating a musical significance within the industry. Their 'What you gonna do' is a sexy and groovy deep house drop based on infra-basses, subtle keys and sharp vocals, the perfect weapon to warm both bodies and souls. Adam Shelton's remix perfectly ends the release with an energic and tense tech-house version that express all his talent and his unshakeable skills in doing quality underground house music. Crafted and verstaile DJ, he is a producer that has much to offer and it can truly be said that despite having already delivered a great deal, we have still only skimmed the surface of his talent.

Established by DJ W!LD in 2005, Catwash Records has since welcomed on board a host of global talent including Sammy Dee, Chris Carrier, Shaun Reeves, Boris Werner, William Kouam Djoko, Gauthier DM, Gulivert or Julian M. and knows since the very beginning how to pick up good and fency tracks, carrying on to champion the fresh sounds of the underground. Avoiding a restricting genre, the Hors-Série side of the label gives fresh and new sounds still in the same colours but with an extra shiny feeling that reminds you that ‘Catwash’ soul is not so far…

After all, the brand freshly released a new record imprint, The W Label, a special place created for DJ W!LD and friends, which motto is ‘we have wild records’. The W Label hosts since then DJ W!LD’s debut album ‘Palace’, and remix features by Art Department, Chris Carrier, DJ Sneak, Fries & Bridges, Gauthier DM, Jay Haze, Kerri Chandler, Radio Slave and SIS."
