For our fourth podcast at TA we have gone all out and got one of the youngest and freshest names in techno, Egal 3 to record us an amazing set, live from Under with all of his own productions.
Sorin Rastoaca (also known as Egal 3 & VID) a well established Romanian DJ & producer. Sorin has seen releases over the past few years on the likes of Fear of Flying, Barraca, and Monique Musique. It's no wonder Sorins fans include techno kings; Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Loco Dice and many more alike.
Recent years have also seen Sorin collaborate with major players like Desolat’s Livio and Roby as well as Santos, Andrew Grant, Martinez and Fabrizio Mauriz, with future studio pairings seeing Egal work with Andrea Oliva & the woman of the moment tINI.
So too will the future bring more vinyl only releases on Amsterdam’s Memoria Music, as well as plenty more international gigs following recent killer sets at The Zoo Belgium, Studio 80 Amsterdam, Poema Club along side Bart Skills and Pakhuis Festival in Rotterdam with Hermanez.
Recently made his UK debut for London night Art Of Dark, Egal 3 & Vid seems to be the name(s) on everyone's lips right now.
